Meet Our Team
Susan M. Chmiel, DDS
Dr. Susan Chmiel began practicing in December 1998 after graduating from the Marquette University School of Dentistry with her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She understands that quality dental care is not just about cleaning teeth; it is about creating a strong foundation for a lifetime of dental health. Dr. Chmiel’s goal as a dentist is to make beautiful smiles a reality.
As a member of the American Dental Association®, the Wisconsin Dental Association and the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association, Dr. Chmiel is able to stay up to date with the latest dental technology and newest treatment techniques. She has also been a certified Invisalign® provider since 2007, and she is dedicated to participating in continuing education courses and seminars every year to stay on the cutting edge of the dental field. She has also been named a Top Doctor since 2019.
Outside of the office, Dr. Chmiel enjoys attending sporting and music events, baking and reading.
Christy – Team Leader
Since 1998, Christy has been the friendly voice you hear when you call our office. She will schedule your appointments, help with treatment planning, and if needed, will assist Dr. Chmiel. Christy enjoys working in dentistry, especially because she gets to know so many of our wonderful patients. When not in the office, Christy and her husband enjoy traveling and riding.
Jessica – Registered Dental Hygienist
Jessica graduated in 2001 with a bachelor in dental hygiene and a minor in biomedical sciences from Marquette University. She enjoys creating a positive experience for her patients, ensuring that everyone is as comfortable as possible while achieving great dental health. Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys traveling with her family.
Ashleigh – Registered Dental Hygienist
Ashleigh graduated from College of Lake County in 2014 and has been working as a hygienist since then. She joined our team in 2021 and has enjoyed getting to know all of the patients and providing a comfortable experience for them. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, and reading.
Janice – Registered Dental Hygienist
Janice is a graduate from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2007 and joined our practice in 2025. She is an enthusiastic dental hygienist who strives to provide gentle, compassionate care to help patients feel comfortable and safe. Outside of work, she likes to kayak on a beautiful quiet river, fish, hunt, and crafting.
Shannon – Dental Assistant
Shannon has been in the dental field since 1996, and she joined our team in 2008. She was trained in-office. She is dedicated to assisting Dr. Chmiel as they help achieve better dental health and a more beautiful smile.
Paige – Lead Sterilization Technician
Paige joined our practice in 2024 as lead sterilization technician. Her friendliness and kind spirit makes her a great addition to the work place. Outside of the office she enjoys traveling, trying her luck with pull tabs and taking care of her French Bulldog.
